Stress is caused by having pressure being placed on you, either from work, your family, yourself or circumstance. A small amount of pressure is advantageous, it is motivational hence it improves performance for the tasks in hand. When there is prolonged or too much pressure it leads to stress, which is unhealthy for your mind, body and spirit.
